I'm a Yale MBA ('92) and Wall Street trader/portfolio manager. At Yale, I was a teaching assistant for Corporate Finance and Statistics for a well known Finance professor (Stephen Ross). I now work in Finance again, after 9 years of running a small business. I've been tutoring finance online for over 2 years now, but I still work as a portfolio manager for my day job.
Throughout my career, I've prepared for and passed the following exams - Finra Series 3, 7, 24, 55, 65 & 63. Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Chartered Financial Analyst Level I (CFA). I've worked in data and systems intensive environments on Wall Street and as a small business owner.
I love teaching - so much so that I teach skiing on weekends and currently hold my Professional Ski Instructors of America Alpine Ski Instructor Level I certification and the PSIA Level I Alpine Children's Specialist certification.
I completed a Bachelor's in Finance from the University of Montana with Highest Honors, and an MBA from Yale University with Distinction being selected for Teaching Assistant in the MBA program for both Corporate Finance and Statistics.
I can also work with you on your Series 65 (Investment Advisor Rep) and Series 7 exams.

I'm in a capstone business class where I have to put concepts I've used previously together. Steven helped me get my head around what needs to be done, where to focus, and general strategies moving forward.
The tutor is knowledgeable in international financial management, responds promptly to questions, and provides clear, effective solutions. Good skilled and reliable advisor.
Steven tutored me for my investment management and portfolio analysis finance course and helped me go from making a 67 on the first test to making a 95 and 100 on the next two. I went from a D in the class to ending with an A thanks to Steven. He was very flexible with meeting times and always helpful and patient.
